For the past 28 years, Dr. Pamela Schmidt has demonstrated excellence in creating stunning, beautiful smiles.  Having graduated from the University of Illinois, School of Dentistry in 1980 she became the first woman dentist in Rockford.  Dr. Schmidt has continued to expand her base of dental knowledge and skill by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education at the finest institutions across the nation.   She is highly trained in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.  Having mastered techniques in these fields, Dr. Schmidt has earned a reputation for excellence.  Her work is aimed at the very highest level in artistic and technical execution.  Dr. Schmidt has made it her personal commitment to perfect the art of dentistry.  Her challenge is to copy mother-nature to perfection.....creating a natural beautiful smile.

Yet, despite her extensive focus on clinical dentistry, Dr. Schmidt takes the time to get to know each and every patient one on one.  Needless to say, Dr. Schmidt loves being a dentist.  In addition, her gentle female touch and her appreciation for excellence makes her patients feel instantly at ease.

She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Winnebago County Dental Society.

Dr. Schmidt also loves practicing with her husband, Dr. Roger, and wouldn't have it any other way. For almost 29 years they have shared a passion for creating beautiful smiles.  A well-balanced lifestyle is a main priority for Dr. Pam.  In her spare time she enjoys boating, hiking and biking with her family.  She is also an avid snow skier and particularly enjoys snow cat skiing in the mountains of British Columbia.
