Thank you to all our patients, their families and friends who participated in our Smiles for Life Campaign! We raised over $4000.00 to help children here in Rockford and all around the world. The charity we chose for this fundraiser is Children's Home and Aid Society right here in Rockford. We are always impressed with the way our patients embrace the opportunity to help. We appreciate your loyalty to our office and feel it is an honor to serve you.

We have recently partnered with Smiles for Life an organization that helps children here in the United States and abroad. 100% of your donation goes directly to help a child. Here's how it works. Now through June 30th, call our office to make an appointment to receive a custom professional home whitening kit, pay $225.00 (reg. 325.00), and 50% of your donation goes to Smiles for Life and 50% to Children's Home & Aid Society right here in Rockford. All whitening kits are donated by Discus Dental and all labor and materials for the custom trays are donated by Dr. Schmidt. Congratulations to our raffle winner Joanne Sjostrom! She took home the Sonicare Toothbrush and will be smiling whiter and brighter by the new year with her Custom Home Whitening Kit! Thank you to all who purchased tickets for this event. The money raised was donated to Carpenter's Place and was matched by an anonymous doner.

Thank you to all who participated in our CA$H for CANDY event. We collected enough candy to make a sizable donation to the immediate needs of MotherHouse. We will be purchasing many urgently needed items. Look in our "What's Happening" page for a photo of all the things you helped us supply to MotherHouse! The candy collected also went to a good cause. Most of it went to care packages being sent to our troops overseas and the rest was placed in care packages put together by a local 7th and 8th grade class to give to residents at St. Elizabeth Center here in Rockford.

Attention all Ghouls and Goblins! Trade your Halloween candy for CA$H! Bring us your "Trick or Treat" candy, we'll weigh it and give you $2.00 per pound. Dr. Schmidt will then match the amount paid for the candy in a donation to MotherHouse, a Children's Home and Aid Society organization that provides services for children in crisis. The weigh-in will be held at our office on Tuesday November 2nd from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Tell your friends and bring them along!
Supporting our community is important to us and we continually strive to be community oriented. We have an ongoing relationship with "The Carpenters Place" to provide treatment for those who through hard work and determination are turning their lives around. Our office participated in a food drive for Rockford Rescue Mission. The women's soccer team at Rockford College asked our office to participate in their challenge with other teams to collect food and fill the pantry at Rockford Rescue Mission.
